Well the weather certainly broke today! With a vengeance!! The notion was to leave Zagreb and drive to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, for a mooch around for a few hours, before moving further into Slovenia to a town called Bled for the night. I stuck to the itinerary but by goodness did it rain. The castle area really could have been very pleasant I think in different circumstances but as with Zagreb not over photogenic. I managed to stay out for 3 hours but the temperature dropped like a stone today and it was just miserable!! Due to pick up again tomorrow so I understand, which is good because I intend to visit the lake in Bled and also Lake Bohinj, before driving on to Kranjska Gora in preparation to drive the Vrsic Pass on Thursday. Supposed to be quite spectacular!
