Left Prague yesterday for Cesky Krumlov landing late afternoon. Went for a quick nose around last evening before supper and whilst the town seemed pleasant enough I actually felt it was rather twee in places! Ate a traditional Czech supper at a restaurant recommended by the hotel and had a couple of pints with it. Only last night did I pick up on the actual strength of Czech beer. The waiter informed me that what I was drinking last night was 12 percent! No wonder I've been feeling rather bleary in the mornings since I arrived over here!! Anyway, spent the day today giving the place a more in depth examination and unfortunately, whilst the setting is very beautiful, my view remains much the same. Will head for Slovakia tomorrow starting in Bratislava.
