When the Russians 'liberated' Hungary from the Nazis they built a load of tribute monuments in and around Budapest to celebtate - to themselves!! When they were finally kicked out of Hungary the Government very qickly did away with them and put them all together in a 'Memento Park'. I think whoever chose the name was inspired!! Anyway, thought I'd go and have a look as I was leaving Budapest. A couple of the faces you'd expect but some quite magnificent pieces really.
