Left Harwich on Monday on the overnight ferry to the Hook of Holland and drove close to 650 miles to the Czech Republic. Heavy day but I'm now where I want to be and intend to meander from here on in. Now Wednesday morning. Currently in a little town called Bor about 100 miles from Prague. Weather fine and around 17 degrees. May get a little higher. People very friendly but no one speaks English and I think communication is going to be something of a game of charades or it's over to Google translate!! It's clear they don't see many cars from the uk here by the way people stare!! Or maybe they're just a curious race. Stayed in a hotel last night. Very comfortable and clean. Room, three course meal, large beer, a glass of wine and a bottle of water. All in less than 40 pounds!! Will drive towards Prague a little later. Need a new battery for my car fob. That's going to be fun!!
Will start on a photo album tomorrow.
Take care,
Glen
